Closing the Book on 2017, December 30: December taught me… Knight of Wands from Everyday Witch Tarot by Deborah Blake and Elisabeth Alba.

December 2017 taught me “to dearly reason with soul and assign peace upon ego.” Ahhh… Yes. Mercury Retrograde helped with this teaching, since it asked me to reflect deeply and to release wholly.

In a sense, I faced the fire-breathing dragon that is my ego and, rather than fight it, wished it peace; gave it a “safe place” to be. It’s remarkable what can happen when kindness is chosen over attacking.
