The Good Tarot: Interviewing Divination Decks
This week, I'm interviewing The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid with Jena DellaGrottaglia, published by Hay House Lifestyles.

What is the ideal purpose of The Good Tarot?

The purpose of The Good Tarot is to reestablish the connection of mind, body, and soul in order to create the balance required for the soul to fulfill its obligations to this new age.
Whoa. You know, when I drew this card in answer to the question, I got a little emotional and wondered why. It was an unexpected response, and yet given the channeled response above, it makes sense to me now.
What's interesting is that I feel there's a nod given to the epic post I published about Jesus, the light and the dark. There's more to "the story," and yet right now, achieving balance is our primary business.
What is your energy form?

The form of the Tarot deck is that of emotional power and soulful remembrance. This creates an energy composite which accesses the energy of the all that is through the vessel of the soul within the human frame.
Ahh... And now it begins to make even more sense, that emotional response. This card, synchronistically, is the first card I read intuitively from the deck. It was the first card I was guided to draw.
I remember having a strong response to it, too. It was that feeling we can sometimes have when the evidence tells us we have everything we can possibly understand and yet there's a deep thrum that tells us otherwise.
It's a feeling that can be almost painful for the inability to "answer" it. Powerful stuff.
Who is your ideal querent?

The ideal querent is one who values the strength of the soul and intuition over the ego and brain. This querent will operate with the intention of creating a soul-guided human life.
Whew. It keeps on coming, and I love it. The ideal querent will be innately spiritual, for sure, and will understand the importance of bringing the soul into the reasoning of the human will. Opening to this framework of being will generate greater strength.
Who will benefit from working with you?

The person who will most benefit from working with these cards is the person who understands their penchant for veering toward the masculine over the feminine. This person will be one who is deeply analytical and wishes to be in control.

...unlock the established principles by which the human has been living in order to associate better with the precise and energetically feminine nature of the soul.
This is so important, and so huge, in the scope of the age we live in.

The deck will welcome all who are in accepting their opportunity to open themselves to a lifestyle which will expose them to a balance that can heal them of all dis-ease and transform the energy of all they do and are.
This is the second interview that produced a duplicate draw for this final question. (The first was The Awakened Soul. Hmm...)
I definitely get the open-arm vibe from this deck, along with the clear indication of who it will be most affinitive to.
