One Half of Your DNA

“Face the security of the family tree with curiosity and pretense of hallowed assemblage. Treat the ancestral lineage with respect and great love, for there lies one half of your DNA.”

That’s interesting. I double-checked the use of “pretense” and was guided to leave it, so there it is. And with one half of our DNA lying with our ancestral lineage, it seems important to note the other half lies with our soul lineage; our various human incarnations.

It might be helpful to contemplate why we’re receiving such a “bald” directive at this time. It could have to do with the holidays, and yet it feels like there’s more.
